How To Use Givelify To Help With Hurricane Harvey Disaster Relief

The Tropical Storm that was Hurricane Harvey continues to cause destruction in coastal Texas. According to the National Weather Service, the flooding could leave vast areas of south Texas “uninhabitable for weeks or months.”

As a mobile and online giving app partner, we feel compelled to help in any we can. We have compiled this list of Givelify member organizations that have set up relief fundraising campaigns. Donations will be used for everything from housing displaced families to medical supplies.

Most of these organizations are located in the affected communities, so your donation will go directly to where it is needed most.

How To Give

  1. In the Givelify app, search for the name, city, and state of your chosen organization.
  2. Tap Give To beside their name in the search results.
  3. Select your donation amount or enter your own.
  4. Tap the envelope/campaign name relating to hurricane relief.
  5. Tap 1-Tap Give Now to complete your donation.

You can also tap or click the organization name in the list below and open their profile directly. If you already have the Givelify App on your mobile device, you may also find these organizations via the Search function.

Note: These organizations were not selected by Givelify. They responded to a call for submissions with a deadline of 12 Noon on Tuesday, August 29.
