Givelify Online Giving Begins August 3

You’re already familiar with the beautiful, easy experience of giving and receiving donations with the Givelify mobile giving app. Beginning Monday, August 3, nonprofits and places of worship will have a whole new way to fundraise with Givelify—on your website.

We’re Listening

Your membership and the generosity of your donors have helped make Givelify more successful than we could’ve hoped. Just as important has been your feedback. Since we launched the mobile giving app in December 2013, many of you have asked us for an online giving option.

We chose to start with the mobile app because it provides the most convenient giving experience. People who attend your fundraisers and worship services don’t bring their laptops: they have their smartphones. Rather than having to take a pledge card, write a check, stand in line to swipe their card, or fill out a long online form every time they want to donate, Givelify allows your supporters and members to give cheerfully anywhere, anytime.

Benefits For You

Perhaps you’re already using PayPal, Stripe, or some other online giving option. By adding Givelify online giving to your website you will have one system for all your mobile and online giving. There is no need to reconcile donations made via different means.

There is no additional fee for adding Givelify online giving. This feature is included in your Givelify membership.

You’re also giving your donors the same simple, beautiful giving experience whether on their smartphones or online. We believe they’ll be inclined to give more—and more often.

How It Will Work

You will be able to add Givelify online giving to your website beginning on Monday, August 3. From your Givelify dashboard you will be able to copy one single line of code to add into your website. This code will work with any content management system (WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, Wix, Squarespace, etc.).

Simply paste the code wherever you want the Givelify button to appear. Your donors can click on the button and be taken directly to your organization’s app profile right from their computer.
