Bring the Ease and Beauty of Givelify To Your Church or Nonprofit Website

The wait is over: Givelify Online Giving version 1.0 is now live for all organizations. Everyone can now add our online giving widget to your website, email newsletters, Facebook and Twitter.

This is a big step for digital giving. Now you no longer need to make sense of two different systems for mobile and online donations.

The online giving widget is mobile responsive. Whether your donors access it via their smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop, they’ll enjoy the same easy, beautiful giving experience as the mobile giving app. While we feel the app is the ideal way to give anytime anywhere, based on your feedback we have brought the same giving capability to your website.

Thank you to all the organizations who helped us throughout the testing phase. Your input has been invaluable in bringing the most beautiful giving experience to a new level.

Getting Started

  1. Log in to your organization’s Givelify dashboard
  2. Click Settings
  3. Click Online Giving
  4. Choose which online giving option is best for your website (Javascript pop-up or new browser tab)
  5. Choose which button fits best with your site design
  6. A text window will open with the embed code
  7. Click Copy
  8. Paste the code into your website where you want the button to appear

Note: You can select multiple badges to use on your site, but only one badge can be displayed per page.

Your website will now include the Givelify online giving button. When your donors click the button, your organization’s profile will pop up.

Whether they’re giving via the mobile giving app or your website, donor accounts are connected. They can make donations, access their giving histories, and all other features of the app.

Please visit the Givelify Launchpad for complete instructions for platforms including WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, Wix, and Squarespace.

Support Note

We are always delighted to help our members get the most out of Givelify. However we’ve found that your IT department, web developer, or hosting company’s support typically has a better understanding of your website’s setup. They are able to assist with adding the button code to your site much more quickly than we can.
