Indianapolis TenPoint Coalition — a group of thirteen churches, the Indianapolis Metro Police Department, neighborhood patrols, and numerous volunteers — is working together in “hot spots” around the city to reduce the rate of homicides and violent crimes.

Led by Reverend Charles Harrison from Barnes United Methodist, “OGs” — local men and women that grew up on the streets — patrol the streets after dark, building relationships, sharing earned wisdom, and intervening in escalating situations when needed.
With dramatic results in reducing homicides in the neighborhoods they patrol, many police departments around the country look to Indy TenPoint Coalition as a model for fighting violent crime in their cities. As the term coalition suggests many, we’d be remiss not to mention all the churches involved:
